It's been a while since we've seen a good super fancy, multi rainbow cake around these parts. Bask in its day-brightening glory.
Well, as the title says. It’s strawberry picking season again and you guessed it, this update from the world of Zoe(with two dots over the “E” and pronounced ZO-EY) The Princess of Posh a/k/a The P.O.P. is all about strawberries.
Now, due to The P.O.P.‘s love of strawberries she decided to deviate from a cupcake of the week to a desert of the week and it is non other than one of her favorite desserts, a Strawberry Shortcake with whipped cream. Now, I am not a professional baker and did not pay too much attention to my dear mother (may God rest her soul) when I was wandering through the kitchen as a kid. So, when we decided to make these little cuties again I went back to the standard Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake Recipe pictured below.
“I loooove it mom. The strawberries are sooo sweet and extra juicy. I like the lemon in the cake who knew lemon skin would taste this good in a dessert” -The P.O.P.
Please note that the “lemon skin’ referred to above was a little lemon zest we added to the bisquick batter. We also sprinkled some raw sugar onto the biscuits about half way through which gave ours a bit of a shimmer or as The P.O.P. said “Bling!” Nontheless, you can find the complete recipe and the above photo at www.Bisquick.com/recipes
Now, as per Zoe The Princess of Posh:
“ The official TuTu of the Month for this month will remain the same but since its strawberry season I think I want to look like a big poofy strawberry so im going with something red and poofy and poofy. But here is another picture of the first one though….” -The P.O.P.
About the one pictured below The Princess of Posh had this to say:
“OMG! mom this one is my dream come true. A big extra poofy strawberry TuTu. I loooooove this one! I have to have this one. This is it!

Now, The P.O.P. did not have a comment about anything specific thats going on in world news but she did have this to say abou the world in general:
“I think the world is big enough for everyone and we should learn to love an get along with each other. I mean I like my big brother and my little sister even when he dont share and let me play with his legos or when Emme wont stop playing with my boas and shoes. I have to like them because I live with them and I think everyone should too. By the way, that was Emme who put that lip gloss on the wall. Really… it was….” -The P.O.P.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the world of Zoe (with two dots over the “E” and pronounced ZO-EY) The Princess of Posh a/k/a The P.O.P. This week’s update will be very brief as per The Princess of Posh:
“This is my last day of Spring Break and I want to just play, try on my new lip gloss and shades, and eat mangos!”

Now, I did manage to pull The Princess of Posh away from her dress up duties to reveiw and select the Cupcake of the week. It is the large filled Red Velvet Cupcake from a wonderful little bakery in our neighborhood, Decadent Designs Bakery. “I loooove red velvet cupcakes. Especially this one that is filled with more yummy vanilla-ish icing. The icing is similar to the carrot cupcake icing but more like vanilla-ly on this one. Deelish!”

Now, as for hosting the proper bed room Tea Party. The Princess of Posh had this to say:
“To have a great bed room tea party you should have the following things: A table with table cloth (pink of course), But one with flowers or something really cute like stripes or polka dots can work too. A vase or nice cup of flowers. I like pink roses or white ones are cool but some flowers, a cake stand for cupcakes and treats. A tea pot, cups with saucers, plates, sugar cup or container, spoons and extra plates for eating your goodies. Make sure your napkins are real I mean a proper bed room tea party should have all real things but be sure to have some paper towels on hand just in case you make a spill because your mommy will not be too happy. Now, you should always attend your tea party wearing a boa, shades, long gloves, high heel or opened toe shoes, and you can NEVER have too much bling. I mean always wear your pearls and earings and I personal favorite ring of choice the Ring Pop! Not only is it flashy but you can eat it too. So, yes, that’s it. Thats how to have a proper bed room tea party.”

Due to Easter and spring break The Princess of Posh visited her favorite cup cakery SAS Cupcakes and chose you guessed it. The Simply Carrot Cupcake (pictured below)
“I love the carrot flavor. This cupcake actually taste like carrots with cream cheesey vanilla like icing. I must try that combo when I get home, mom. But seriously, this cupcake is delish”

The Dress Up Report:
“Last week I explained that every Princess of Posh should have a huge pair of shades. Now, with those shades you should always , ALWAYS, pair those shades with a huge fluffy boa (pink of course) and high heel shoes of any kind. Just remember to polish those toes okay ladies.”

Now, many of you may not know this but The Princess of Posh celebrated a birthday last week and wanted to get things started with her birthday cupcake of course. The picture below is the actual cupcake The Princess of Posh enjoyed about a week ago. It is the Chocolate/Vanilla cupcake by our local SAS Cupcakes.
As per Zoe The Princess of Posh:
“This cupcake was sooooooo awesome. The chocolate flavor was just like a hershey kiss and the vanilla icing was great and super soft and sweet like a vanilla ice cream cone.” “Oh, and the candy cane was yummy too!” – The P.O.P.

Hello and welcome to the world of Zoe (with two dots over the “E” and pronounced (Zo -Ey) a/k/a The Princess Of Posh. We are excited to be here and share the world as SHE knows it.
But first a DISCLAIMER: This blog will contain the random adventures, dreams, and ideas of a seven year old girl who enjoys playing dress up, arts and crafts, baking cupcakes, feather boas, tutus and tiaras of course. And did I mention her favorite colors are PINK, PINK, and PURPLE and PINK. Me, I shall be know as ”Zoe’s mom” and shall serve as the messenger as SHE CAN NOT TYPE (at least not yet) but my self proclaimed Princess of Posh or the P.O.P. has so much she wants to share with the world that I just had to give her a public place to express herself.
Now, as you follow The Princess of Posh you can expect to find the following : (As told to me by the P.O.P.)
Also, be sure to check in often for random interviews of people she thinks we should know about and a little segment called ”Things My Little Sister Might Say.” Oh yes, there is another tiny Princess of Posh in training and believe me the updates on that one alone will keep you glued to this blog’s tube.

Myself the mother of Zoe a/k/a The Princess of Posh. Her big brother ”Jay” and her little sis “Emme” a/k/a the Tiny Princess of Posh but her father and I will often call her ”Bossy.” Lastly, my wonderful husband and father of The Princess of Posh who shall remain nameless and simply referred to as Dear Husband(DH) or “Hubs.” I personally refer to him as “The very patient and supportive man who is truly the wind beneath my wings.” or TVPSMWITWBMW for short.
